Feet can get pretty ugly if not taken care of. But with a few certain procedures done routinely you can keep them as good looking as the rest of you.
So first get your gear together. Basics include nail clipper, nail file, cuticle stick, nail buffer, nail polish remover, cotton, foot scrub, moisturizer, loofah, bath salts, cuticle oil and a nice basin of warm water. If you want to apply a colour then a good quality clear base coat and your favourite shade for the feet.
Step 1- Remove the old nail polish. Then soak your feet in a basin of hot water. Add bath salts or the oil. Adding some smooth pebbles gives you a surface to massage feet gently. Just let your feet soak while you relax, for about 10-15 mins.
Step 2 – Cut and file your nails. Keep them slightly square and don't trim too much at the corners. The use nail file to buff them.
Step 3 – Cuticle care. Push back the cuticles gently using cuticle stick. Then apply some cuticle oil.
Step 4 – Clean up. Use the foot scrub and loofah or even a pumice stone to get rid of the callus and exfoliate your feet. Then rinse them off and towel dry.
Step 5 – Moisturize. Now they are ready for colouring or can be left as is.
